
Stefani Scherer
Stefani Scherer, Dr. phil is professor in Sociology at Trento University, Italy. Her main research interests are inequality and social stratification processes in international comparative perspective, the analysis of life courses, the family and labour market dynamics. She is currently the director of the Master programme in Sociology and Social Research, after having coordinated the PhD programme in Sociology within the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at Trento University. She is an associate editor of Genus – Journal of Population Science.

Paolo Barbieri
Paolo Barbieri, Ph.D., is professor in Economic Sociology at Trento University. His main research interests are concerned with welfare and labour market in a comparative perspective. He has been working on labour market related themes such as atypical employment, transitions from school to work, self-employment. Other research interests involve networks and social capital, status attainment processes, network analysis techniques applied to economic sociology issues and labour market behaviours as well as to social participation, quality of life and generalised trust. He is currently the director of the School in Social Science at Trento University, and associate editor of the European Sociological Review.

Giorgio Cutuli
Giorgio Cutuli, PhD, is currently a research fellow at the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Trento, Italy. His main research interests include welfare and labor market dynamics, socioeconomic inequality, and quantitative longitudinal analysis.

Moris Triventi
Moris Triventi, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Research at the University of Trento (Italy), where he teaches Quantitative Research Methods and Sociology of Education. From 2013 to 2016 he was a Research Fellow at the European University Institute (Fiesole, Italy). His research interests comprise social inequalities, education, crime, and policy impact evaluation. His works have been published, among others, in Annual Review of Sociology, Policy Sciences, and European Sociological Review.

Saverio Minardi
Saverio Minardi is PhD candidate at Trento University. His interests include the social and economic consequences of technological change in labour markets.

Filippo Gioachin
Filippo Gioachin is PhD candidate at Trento University, studying social stratification dynamics at the intersection of employment and family.
